Krupaj spring

The Krupaj spring emerges from beneath limestone cliffs, forming an oval lake measuring 40 meters in length and 17 meters in width.

The spring has functioned as a vital water source since ancient times, supporting agricultural development and settlements throughout Eastern Serbia's history.

The spring holds deep connections to Serbian folklore, with tales of the water spirit Tartor and the Golden Cave beneath its waters.

The spring maintains a temperature between 9 to 11 degrees Celsius and extends 435 meters before joining the Krupaj River.

A thermal spring near the mill releases water at 26 degrees Celsius, flowing at 6-10 liters per second alongside the main spring.
