Stol, Mountain peak in Eastern Serbia.

Stol is a mountain in Eastern Serbia rising to 1,156 meters, featuring a mix of karst formations and thick forests of beech and fir trees. The slopes contain multiple hiking paths with varying levels of difficulty.

The mountain served as a natural border and strategic lookout point during different periods of Serbian military history. This defensive role shaped its importance over the centuries.

Local mountain clubs organize regular hiking events and maintain the trails, creating an active outdoor community in the Bor region.

Visitors will find a basic mountain hut for shelter and many marked trails of different lengths to explore. Access is possible on foot with basic gear depending on the chosen route.

A small mountain lake at the base of the peak changes appearance notably between seasons. Visitors often notice how different the landscape looks between summer and winter months.
