Krasnoyarsk Central Park, Public park in central Krasnoyarsk, Russia.
Krasnoyarsk Central Park is a 15 hectare (37 acre) public space located between Karl Marx Street and Dubrovsky Street in the city center. The grounds contain walking paths, recreational facilities, and native Siberian plants spread across the open area.
The park was established in 1828 on the former estate of the first governor of Yenisei Province. It originated from a natural pine forest that once stretched from the Yenisei to the Kacha rivers.
The park serves as a gathering place for concerts and seasonal events where locals and visitors experience live performances throughout the year. Various monuments here honor notable figures and create focal points for community activities.
The park offers around 25 different attractions including family rides, extreme carousels, and a miniature railway. Facilities are easily accessible throughout the grounds with clear pathways connecting different sections for visitors to explore.
During winter the park transforms into a large ice skating rink with illuminated trees creating a seasonal attraction. This seasonal change demonstrates how the space adapts to winter while maintaining year-round visitor appeal.
