Ksudach

Ksudach is an active stratovolcano on the Kamchatka Peninsula with multiple overlapping calderas in its summit area. These calderas contain two large lakes, Bolshoe and Kraternoe, situated at approximately 1080 meters elevation.

One of the largest known eruptions on Kamchatka occurred in 1907 and released massive amounts of ash. This event proved significant for volcanic research and contributed to understanding eruption mechanisms.
