Arena CSKA, Football stadium in Khoroshyovsky District, Russia.
Arena CSKA is a football stadium in Khoroshyovsky District, Moscow, featuring four stands with seating on two levels and an office tower integrated into one corner. The stands surround the pitch and skyboxes for business guests sit between the main sections.
The venue opened in 2016 after nine years of construction and replaced the former Grigory Fedotov Stadium where the club played from 1974 to 2000. The complex was completed in time for the 2018 World Cup, when it hosted four group stage matches.
The name refers to the Soviet Red Army sports club whose team plays home matches here. Around the venue, fan shops and cafés have opened where supporters gather before games.
The venue sits in northwest Moscow and can be reached from three metro stations, all within walking distance. Public transport is the easiest way to arrive, as parking is limited.
The tower in one corner houses offices and apartments, making this the only European football venue with a skyscraper built into its structure. The top of the tower reaches 142 meters (466 feet), rising far above the stands.
