Description
Vladychnaya Palata is a Gothic structure in the Novgorod Kremlin featuring pointed arches and vaulted ceilings built in the 15th century. The palace contains a grand hall with about 30 doors and two exhibition levels displaying medieval artworks and decorative pieces.
History
An archbishop commissioned German architects to build this structure in 1433, and it later witnessed the end of Novgorod's independence. The building survived centuries of change in the region while remaining standing.
