Metenkov House Museum of Photography

The Metenkov House Museum of Photography is a photography museum spread across multiple floors in central Yekaterinburg. The building on Karla Libknekta Street displays photographic collections and functions as artist studio spaces.

The museum was founded in 1998 and now holds approximately 13,500 objects, including rare photographic works. The collection documents the development of photography in Russia from its earliest days onward.

The house serves as a gathering place where photographers display their work and connect with each other. Local photographic traditions remain active here and continue to evolve through exhibitions and artist residencies.
