Музей «Литературная жизнь Урала XX века», Literature museum in Yekaterinburg, Russia.
The Museum of Literary Life of the Urals exhibits manuscripts, books, and artifacts documenting the literary heritage of the Ural region throughout the 20th century.
Established in 1993, the museum occupies a wooden Art Nouveau building designed by architect I.K. Yankovsky between 1910 and 1912, relocated from Tolmacheva Street.
The permanent exhibition presents literary movements from Konstantin Balmont to Boris Ryzhy, with special attention to wartime literature during the Great Patriotic War.
Located at 10 Proletarskaya Street, the museum opens Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00, with admission fees ranging from 100 to 200 rubles.
The museum features an interactive program called Stray Dog where visitors encounter digital representations of poets Marina Tsvetaeva and Vladimir Mayakovsky.
