The museum displays more than 500 exhibits of gemstones, jewelry pieces, and stone cutting artworks across three distinct floors of a historical building.
Established in 1992, the museum occupies an 1820s mining pharmacy building, reflecting the mineral heritage of the Ural Mountains region.
The exhibition halls contain works from the Imperial Lapidary Factory and modern jewelry artists, demonstrating Russian craftsmanship through different periods.
Located at Lenina Avenue 37, the museum welcomes visitors from Wednesday to Sunday, with extended hours on Thursdays until 20:00.
The Bazhovsky hall features special lacquer panels illustrating tales from P. P. Bazhov, connecting regional literature with mineral arts.
