Dubosekovo

Dubosekovo is a railway station in the Moscow region that connects multiple settlements and serves as a major transportation hub for the surrounding communities. The station area is marked by a World War II memorial with large stone statues that dominate the landscape.

On November 16, 1941, Dubosekovo became a battle site when soldiers of the 316th Rifle Division fought German tanks during the Battle of Moscow. This event left a lasting mark on the place and was later commemorated with a large memorial.

The railway station represents the intersection of different communities, serving as a meeting point for travelers and local residents throughout the Moscow region.

The location is accessible by train from Moscow with regular service throughout the year. The memorial site is best visited during warmer months when the grounds are easy to walk through.

Six monumental statues reaching 10 meters in height stand on the memorial grounds and are visible from far away. These impressive stone figures serve as a powerful reminder of the 1941 events.
