The Zapasnoy Palace, constructed from 1817 to 1818, stands as a neoclassical structure designed by architect Vasily Stasov on Sofiysky Boulevard.
The palace underwent significant modifications between 1866 and 1878 under architect Alexander Vitov, followed by additional restorations from 1955 to 1958.
The residence served as a gathering place for Russian aristocracy, particularly the Kochubey family, reflecting the social practices of 19th-century nobility.
