Кривоборское городище, Archaeological settlement in Kirov Oblast, Russia.
The settlement occupies 0.3 hectares on the right bank of Cheptsa River, near its confluence with Vyatka River between Krivobar and Gorodniki villages.
The Krivoborsky settlement served as a protective outpost for the Vyatka city of Nikulitsyn against attacks from Finno-Permic tribes during the 12th to 14th centuries.
Archaeological excavations revealed underground chambers with furnace remains, iron tools, weapons, and ceramic vessels of Russian and Slavic-influenced origins.
The federal cultural heritage site status ensures the preservation of archaeological structures and artifacts for research and educational purposes.
Two large underground chambers discovered at the site contain intact furnace remains and medieval artifacts dating from the 12th to 14th centuries.
