The Music Hall occupies a grand building with classical architecture, featuring multiple performance spaces and a designated area for ballet productions.
The theatre was constructed between 1910 and 1912 as part of Emperor Nicholas II National Theatre, designed by Court architect G. Lucedarsky.
The Music Hall presents classical ballet performances, including Swan Lake and Giselle, along with Russian musicals throughout the theatrical season.
Located near the Peter and Paul Fortress, visitors can reach the theatre via Gorkovskaya metro station or take a walk through central Saint Petersburg.
The venue housed the first Soviet musicals during the 20th century and currently maintains special performance classes for children since 1987.
