Novoperedelkino, Metro station in Western Moscow, Russia.
Novoperedelkino is a metro station in western Moscow featuring perforated wall panels and integrated LED lighting systems. The spacious island platform supports passenger flow throughout the station.
The station opened on August 30, 2018, as part of the Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya line extension project. This addition connected the western districts of Moscow to central transit routes.
The walls display laser-engraved patterns of birch and pine trees on illuminated panels, connecting the station to the surrounding forests of the district. These natural motifs create a visual link between the transit space and the local landscape.
The station connects directly to Borovskoye Shosse and Rasskazovka stations, serving residents of the Novo-Peredelkino District. Wheelchair accessibility is available throughout the station.
More than 300,000 Moscow residents voted on the station's design, which won through public selection. The color-changing LED panels are programmed to light up during city celebrations.
