Cerkiew Opieki Matki Bożej w Ufie

The Church of the Protection of the Holy Mother in Ufa is a brick building with neoclassical architecture located on Mingazhev Street. It displays symmetrical proportions, white walls, and traditional Orthodox architectural elements that clearly mark its religious function.

This building was constructed in 1817 on the site of earlier wooden churches, and remains the oldest surviving religious building in the city. This long history makes it the most important religious witness to Ufa's past.
