St. Petersburg Museum of dolls, Doll and puppet museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia
The museum contains an extensive collection of dolls and puppets from various periods, including traditional folk toys and modern designer creations.
Founded in 1998, the museum presents numerous lead soldiers depicting warriors through different historical periods of Russian and international military history.
The exhibits feature dolls representing Eastern Slavic ceremonies and festivals, displaying traditional costumes and customs through miniature representations.
Located at 8 Ulitsa Kamskaya near Primorskaya Metro station, the museum opens daily from 10 AM to 6 PM with admission fees of 150 RUB for adults.
The museum offers hands-on workshops where participants learn to create traditional peasant dolls using materials such as cloth, straw, and paper.
