The park establishment in 1925 marked the beginning of organized public recreation spaces in Novosibirsk, becoming the first major urban park in the region.
During winter months, the park transforms into a seasonal entertainment venue with an outdoor ice rink where figure skating demonstrations and sports instruction take place.
The ice skating rink operates daily from 12:00 to 22:00, with rental skates available in sizes 28 to 47 and separate pricing for children and seniors.
The park features heated changing rooms and specialized equipment for maintaining the circular ice rink surface throughout the winter season.
