Церковь Архангела Михаила

The Church of Archangel Michael is a stone-built structure with a two-tiered bell tower painted white and pale blue. Inside, the church features traditional Orthodox decorations and a layout typical of regional temples from this era.

The building was constructed in 1756 and underwent significant reconstruction in 1851 that altered much of its original appearance. During the 1930s Soviet era, it was repurposed as a grain storage facility before eventually returning to religious use.

The temple contains the venerated Iverskaya icon of the Mother of God and maintains regular Sunday liturgies led by Priest John Kuznetsov.

The church is located in a quiet part of the village and stands out clearly from surrounding buildings. Visitors should dress respectfully when entering, as it remains an active place of worship.

This temple is among the oldest religious structures in the Budyonnovsky district, having endured significant changes throughout modern history. Its conversion to grain storage during Soviet times reveals how local buildings adapted to survive periods of restricted religious practice.
