The Intercession of the Holy Virgin Church is an Orthodox sanctuary in Zheleznovodsk featuring white columns and green domes. The building stands near Chernikovsky Lane and displays classical architecture with characteristic Russian Orthodox elements.

Construction of the church began in 1765 and was completed in 1790, following Orthodox architectural principles of the period. A fire in 1834 caused significant damage to the interior, prompting major restoration work.

The church houses religious artwork by Tula painter Grigory Ivanovich Belousov, including several original icons from the 18th century that remain on display. These pieces shape the visual character of the interior and reflect the artistic traditions of the region.

The church is accessible daily and offers regular religious services for visitors and worshippers. The entrance is located near Chernikovsky Lane, making it easy to find in the central area of Zheleznovodsk.

During World War I, the church building housed the region's first ecclesiastical hospital, funded entirely by parish donations. This commitment shows the important role the religious community played during times of crisis.
