Mozdok Museum of Regional Studies

The Mozdok Museum of Regional Studies holds historical documents, traditional clothing, and local crafts that tell the story of the region. The collection displays objects from everyday life that show how people in North Ossetia-Alania lived and what mattered to their communities.

The museum opened in 1970 as part of efforts to preserve the heritage of North Ossetia-Alania and has collected objects ever since. Over time it has grown to document the region's development from its earliest days through the present.

The exhibitions show how Armenians, Georgians, and Ossetians have lived together in the region and kept their traditions alive. Visitors can observe how these groups have shaped local crafts and daily customs that remain visible in Mozdok today.
