Saint Simeon Stylites Church on Povarskaya Street

Saint Simeon Stylites Church is a stone Orthodox building with five domes, a bell tower, and two side chapels with separate apses. The white stone decorations in Uzorochye style create an ornamental exterior that stands out distinctly on Povarskaya Street.

The church was founded in 1631 under Feodor III and later transformed from a wooden structure to a stone building in 1676. This shift reflects the architectural development of Moscow during that period.
