Yunost Sport Palace

Yunost Sport Palace is a multipurpose sports facility in Chelyabinsk with several training and competition areas. The main hall accommodates roughly 4,000 spectators and hosts events for different sports disciplines.

The palace was established in 1967 based on a modified design from Minsk. It served as the home of the Traktor ice hockey team until 2008.

The facility serves as a training hub for ice hockey and figure skating, shaping the skills of young athletes in the region. Many who trained here have gone on to compete at higher levels.

The building sits on Sverdlovsky Prospekt and contains various training halls and sports facilities. Visitors should expect different sports and training groups that may be active at different times.

In its early decades, the complex drew millions of visitors and played a central role in regional sports culture. The period from 1967 to 1987 saw particularly active events and training activities.
