Kiiskilä Manor, Manor house in Podberezye, Russia.
Kiiskilä Manor is an estate in Podberezye located on the western shore of Vyborg Bay. The main building displays six Doric columns on its facade and is currently undergoing restoration.
The estate was founded in the 1560s and changed hands several times until Friedrich Dannenberg purchased it in 1818 and built new structures. Later it served as a pioneer camp called Chaika during the Soviet period, owned by a Leningrad shipyard.
The first primary school of Viipuri Rural Municipality opened at Kiiskila Manor in 1855, housed in a wooden building by French architect Villiers.
The site is currently closed to visitors due to ongoing restoration work. It is best to check in advance about future visiting opportunities and access conditions.
During the Soviet era, the property functioned as a pioneer camp operated by a Leningrad shipyard. This unexpected use as a seasonal retreat connects the site to the region's industrial past.
