The Russian State Archive for Scientific-Technical Documentation (RGANTD) is a federal archive in Moscow holding scientific and technical records from Soviet and post-Soviet organizations, excluding institutions in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Leningrad Oblast. It also preserves pre-revolutionary research, design and project documentation. By the end of 2012 it held over 580,000 storage units from more than 500 organizations in the aerospace, defense and scientific-technical complex.

The archive traces its origin to the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation of the USSR, created by a Council of Ministers resolution on 21 May 1964. A building complex was assigned to Kuybyshev, where the archive began operating in November 1976. In 1995, the Russian Research Centre for Space Documentation in Moscow and the Russian State Scientific and Technical Archive in Samara were merged by government decree No. 575 to form RGANTD.

The archive's holdings include personal funds of rocket and space technology specialists and cosmonauts, along with memoirs of science and technology figures collected through the archive's own initiative-documentation work. Since 2013 its acquisition department has been split into groups for civilian economic sectors, the defense-industrial complex, and personal funds.

The archive is located on Profsoyuznaya Street and offers reading rooms for researchers to access documents through a formal request system. Visitors should arrange access in advance and clearly state their research needs to make the most of their time there.

The collection includes original technical drawings and blueprints that show how Soviet engineers designed complex machines and systems. These drawings are often detailed enough to understand how individual components fit together and worked.
