Химик, Football stadium in Novomoskovsk, Russia
The Khimik Stadium features a sixth-generation artificial turf field with heating system and two stands protected by canopy roofs for spectators.
The stadium opened in 1954 and underwent major renovations between 1995 and 1997, transforming it into a dedicated football venue with plastic seats.
In 1961, the stadium recorded its highest attendance of 17,000 spectators during a match where the local team defeated Moscow Dynamo in the USSR Cup.
The sports facility accommodates 5,200 spectators and contains a playing field measuring 105 by 68 meters at Sadovskogo Street 52.
The venue changed names multiple times, starting as Shakhtyor in 1954, becoming Don in the 1990s, before settling on its current name Khimik.
