Sochi Park

Sochi Park is an amusement park in the Adlersky City District near the Black Sea coast, featuring several themed areas with roller coasters, water rides, and attractions for all age groups. The grounds cover a large outdoor area with pathways winding between colorful buildings, food courts, and souvenir shops.

The site opened in 2014 during the Sochi Winter Olympics and was intended to strengthen the tourism infrastructure of the region. The initial sections focused on family attractions, while later expansions added high-speed rides and water slides.

Each zone within the park draws from Russian folk tales and historical narratives, with characters like Baba Yaga and the Firebird serving as themes for rides and carousels. The architecture of the buildings mimics the colorful shapes of traditional Russian wooden houses and palaces, especially noticeable in the family areas.

The park operates year-round during daylight hours and offers single-day and multi-day passes for visitors. The grounds are close to bus stops and parking facilities, and signage in several languages helps with navigation between zones.

The Quantum Leap roller coaster reaches a speed of 105 kilometers per hour (65 miles per hour) and is considered the fastest ride of its kind in the country. The track passes through several inversions and steep turns directly above the pathways, allowing onlookers on the ground to watch the cars zoom overhead.
