Krapperup Castle, Renaissance château in Höganäs Municipality, Sweden.
The white limestone castle features a rectangular main building flanked by four corner towers and surrounded by protective moats.
The initial castle structure was constructed between 1314 and 1353 by Johannes Jonaesson, who built a rectangular stone residence.
The Gyllenstiernska Krapperupstiftelsen foundation maintains the castle grounds and supports scientific research through various initiatives since 1967.
The castle gardens remain accessible throughout the year, while interior tours operate from Easter to Midsummer and mid-September to mid-October.
The property contains a seven-pointed star on its facade, representing the Gyllenstierna family crest added during the 17th century.
