Kockenhus

Kockenhus is a manor house located at the base of Kullaberg with architectural styles inspired by Rhineland castles. The estate features a golf course, hotel rooms, a marina, and vacation homes all situated on the expansive grounds.

The manor house was built in 1883 as a new construction, but the grounds have connections to Swedish noble families from earlier periods. The architectural design shows the influence of European models on rural estate design of that era.

The manor house sits in an easily accessible location near the beach and natural area of Kullaberg. Visitors should be aware that parts of the property may be unavailable due to restoration work following a 2022 fire.

The property sustained extensive damage from a fire in January 2022, prompting major reconstruction efforts. This event brought attention to the building structure and its ongoing restoration work.
