Himmelstorp, Historic farm in Höganäs Municipality, Sweden
Himmelstorp is a four-winged farmstead built with traditional timber-framing, where connected buildings form a complete enclosure around a central courtyard. The complex is managed by the Kullens Heritage Association and remains open to visitors.
The farm was first recorded in documents from 1491 and was owned by Krapperup Estate. After a fire destroyed the original buildings in 1736, the property was rebuilt.
The farm operates as a cultural center showcasing rural traditions and everyday life from the Skåne region. Visitors experience how people lived and worked in the countryside during earlier times.
The property can be visited during the warmer months, and special events such as a summer market and Christmas celebrations take place regularly. Timing your visit with these events offers a more complete experience of daily activities.
The farm served as a filming location for the television series Kullamannen and the Edvard Persson film Life in the Countryside. This film connection has given the place a distinctive presence in Swedish cultural history.
