Västerort

Västerort extends across multiple neighborhoods including Bromma, Hässelby-Vällingby, Rinkeby-Kista, and Spånga-Tensta, covering 6,884 hectares of Stockholm's western territory.

The integration of Västerort into Stockholm occurred in two phases, with the eastern section joining in 1916 and the western portion following in 1949.

The district houses communities from various backgrounds, with neighborhoods like Rinkeby and Kista representing the multicultural nature of modern Stockholm.

The area maintains four administrative districts that manage local services, infrastructure, and community development for over 205,000 residents.

Each neighborhood within Västerort maintains its own character, from the residential spaces of Bromma to the suburban developments of Hässelby-Vällingby.
