Råcksta gård, Manor house in Råcksta, Stockholm, Sweden

The main building of Råcksta gård stands at the center of a former office complex built by Vattenfall in the 1960s.

Built in the 1720s by mint master Anders Strömner, the manor served as a farm estate before becoming part of Vattenfall's headquarters.

The renovation preserved 300-year-old ceiling paintings, French doors, wooden floorboards, tile stoves, and baroque architectural details.

The manor house now contains six modern apartments that combine contemporary living standards with historical architectural elements.

The property transformation earned a nomination for the Stockholm Builders Association's ROT prize in 2017 for its preservation methods.
