Råcksta gård

Råcksta gård is an 18th-century manor house located at the center of a former 1960s office complex. The building now contains six apartments that combine modern living standards with original architectural features.

The house was built in the 1720s as a private residence for a royal mint master. The estate later became part of a major corporate complex before being converted into apartments.

The manor displays original details spanning three centuries, including painted ceilings and baroque ornaments that were revealed during renovation. Visitors can see how historical craftsmanship connects with modern living in the preserved elements throughout the building.

The building is easily accessible in the Råcksta district and clearly visible from the surrounding area as part of the urban landscape. As it is a private residential address, viewing is limited to the exterior.

The renovation of the property earned a nomination for the Stockholm Builders Association award in 2017 recognizing innovative preservation methods. This recognition highlights how the project successfully bridged historical conservation and contemporary living.
