Norrviken Gardens

Norrviken Gardens is a park with multiple themed sections featuring carefully selected plant species across a large terrain overlooking the Bjäre Peninsula coastline. The gardens are organized into different style zones, each showcasing distinct landscape design traditions.

The site was founded in 1906, transforming coastal land into a collection of gardens reflecting international styles. This establishment marked the beginning of its development into the horticultural destination it is today.

The gardens reflect their founder's passion for plant collection and horticultural design from around the world. Walking through them, visitors see how different landscapes and gardening traditions have been brought together in one place.

The grounds are open to visitors from April through December and can be entered through various access points. Plan enough time for a leisurely walk through the different sections, especially if you want to explore the viewpoints.

The site contains a contemporary cultural space that regularly hosts art exhibitions, musical performances, and design presentations. This venue creates a bridge between nature and contemporary culture.
