Alnarp Park Arboretum, Botanical garden and arboretum in Alnarp, Sweden.
The 26-hectare park contains 2,500 different tree and shrub species from all continents, making it one of the largest botanical collections in Sweden.
The park construction started in 1859 alongside Alnarp Castle, serving as grounds for the Agricultural Institute which opened its doors in 1862.
The park functions as an educational center within the Swedish University of Agriculture, featuring labeled plants in Swedish and Latin for research purposes.
Visitors can access audio guides for 1.5-hour walks through the park, starting at the entrance gates on Sundsvägen.
The site includes what remains of Alnarpsskogen, which in the mid-18th century represented the only elm forest in Sweden.
