Brunkebergs hotell, Historical hotel building in central Stockholm, Sweden
The Brunkebergs Hotel stands at Brunkebergstorg 2 in Norrmalm district, featuring a facade with copper griffins overlooking the square.
Per Axel Nyström and Jonas Jonsson constructed the building between 1837 and 1841 for Baron Johan Nordenfalk as a luxurious residential hotel.
The Stockholm School of Economics and its student union operated from the building between 1909 and 1928 before relocating to Sveavägen.
The Telegraph Administration acquired the building in 1924, adding a floor and modifying the facade with darker terrasit plaster and lighter window frames.
Notable tenants included Aftonbladet founder Lars Johan Hierta, artist Jenny Nyström, and publishing pioneer Albert Bonnier before its 1969 demolition.
