Kattlunds gård

The Kattlunds farm features multiple stone buildings, including a main house and a large barn complex with medieval foundations and later additions.

Johannes Kattlund established the farm in the late 1200s, and the property served as residence for several local judges until the end of the 17th century.

The farmstead maintains collections of original furniture and implements, illustrating the agricultural practices and daily life of historical Gotland farmers.

The outdoor areas remain accessible to visitors during the 2024 renovation period, with informational signs providing details about the buildings and farm layout.

The barn structure incorporates distinctive stone slabs and wooden coverings protecting the eaves, creating an architectural feature uncommon in regional farm buildings.
