Santaworld

Santaworld is a theme park in Gesunda spread across forest land with multiple themed zones dedicated to different fantasy worlds. Areas include Troll Kingdom, Dragonland, and Gnomes Village, each with rides, shows, and interactive experiences designed for families.

The park opened in 1984 as a Christmas attraction and gradually expanded into a full entertainment venue with multiple themed areas and performance stages. This growth came from increasing demand for family entertainment options in the region.

The park weaves Swedish folklore into its design through characters and decorations that visitors encounter naturally while walking around. Traditional mythical beings and symbols appear throughout, connecting the experience to local storytelling traditions.

The park operates with different programs depending on the season, running Christmas activities from November through December and summer offerings from June to August. Check the season before visiting to see which attractions and performances are available.

Performers dressed as fantasy characters roam the themed areas and interact directly with visitors, creating unscripted moments and engaging them in the stories unfolding around the park. These face-to-face meetings often become the most memorable part of a visit.
