Torekällberget Open Air Museum

The museum complex features restored historic buildings including traditional houses, farmsteads, a schoolhouse, a church, and a blacksmith workshop on a hilltop location.

Founded in 1965, Torekällberget Museum preserves and exhibits buildings, artifacts, and daily routines that represent Swedish rural life from the 1800s and early 1900s.

Traditional craft demonstrations, farming activities, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year demonstrate the customs and practices of 19th-century Swedish society.

The museum provides 200 parking spaces, accessible pathways for all visitors, and remains open every weekend with guided tours available in multiple languages.

The museum maintains several rare Swedish heritage breeds of farm animals, including specific varieties of sheep, cattle, and horses native to the region.
