The St. Cantianus and Companions Parish Church rises in stone at the center of Kranj with Gothic architectural elements and detailed stone carvings.
Built in the early fifteenth century, this church became a significant religious structure that influenced the design of numerous Gothic churches across Slovenia.
The church bears the name of three Christian martyrs - Saints Cantius, Cantianus, and Cantianella - representing local religious traditions since medieval times.
Visitors can access the church through the main entrance on the western facade and observe the public clock facilities mounted on its exterior walls.
The church received official recognition as a cultural monument in 1983, with registration number 275 in the Slovene Cultural Heritage Register.
