Štadión Pasienky is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Bratislava III district with a central playing field surrounded by covered seating areas. The venue accommodates thousands of spectators and features modern lighting infrastructure for evening events.
Construction of the stadium began in 1962 as a home ground for FK Inter Bratislava. From 2009 onwards, Slovan Bratislava took over as the primary user of the venue.
The stadium marked its entry into music entertainment when Metallica performed the first concert there on June 8, 1993, opening doors for future performances.
The venue is easily accessible by public transportation, including trams, trolleybuses, and bus routes that connect to various parts of the city. Visitors should check event schedules in advance of their trip.
The venue hosted four matches during the 2000 UEFA European Under-21 Championship. It also served as a home for ten Slovakia national team matches between 2009 and 2012.
