House of Arts Piešťany, Arts centre in Piešťany, Slovakia
The House of Arts Piešťany stands along the Ivan Krasko Embankment, featuring a design that combines modern architecture with Slovak traditional elements.
Completed in 1979, this structure marks the first purpose-built theatre constructed outside Bratislava in Slovakia following World War II.
The center maintains an extensive program of exhibitions, theatrical performances, and musical concerts that showcase both Slovak and international artists.
The building provides complete wheelchair access throughout its premises and maintains regular cultural events throughout all seasons of the year.
Architect Ferdinand Milučký integrated specific elements from Slovak folk architecture into the building's contemporary structural design.
