Deravá skala

Archaeological excavations in Deravá skala revealed human settlements from the Paleolithic period, with discoveries including mammoth tusk points and flint tools.

The cave contains numerous paleontological findings that document the evolution of human settlements and animal species in the Little Carpathians region.

Visitors can reach the cave through a marked green trail starting from Plavecký Mikuláš village, with a hiking distance of approximately 2 kilometers.

The cave walls lack stalactite formations but contain preserved cave bear bones, making it a notable site for paleontological research.
