Educational trail Súľovské skály

The trail extends over 6 kilometers with a 252-meter elevation gain through forests and rocky formations in the Horné Považie region.

The path leads to Súľov Castle, constructed in the early 15th century to protect trade routes until an earthquake damaged it in 1858.

The trail features educational boards that inform visitors about regional geology, local plants, and wildlife specific to the Súľov mountains.

Starting from the parking lot in Súľov-Hradná, green markers guide hikers through the circuit, which takes approximately two hours and fifteen minutes to complete.

The route passes through notable rock formations, including a 13-meter Gothic gate made of Tertiary conglomerates and a spring near the castle ruins.
