Doi Khun Tan National Park

The mountainous terrain of Doi Khun Tan National Park contains pine forests and spans 250 square kilometers across northern Thailand's varied landscapes.

The park's railway tunnel, measuring 1,352 meters in length, required six years of construction by Lao workers and was completed in 1921.

Local hill tribe communities near the national park maintain their traditional practices while living in harmony with the natural environment.

Visitors can access the park via Khun Tan train station, followed by a 1.3-kilometer uphill walk to reach the headquarters and accommodation facilities.

The park's elevation ranges from 350 meters in bamboo forests to 1,363 meters at its peak, creating distinct ecological zones for diverse plant species.
