Laem Sing

Laem Sing is a beach on Thailand's eastern coast with white sand stretching between rocky points and dense vegetation on both sides. The shoreline offers swimming areas and serves as a landing spot for fishing boats throughout the day.

It began as a small fishing settlement that gradually transformed into a coastal destination over the 20th century. The shift toward tourism occurred gradually while maintaining its fishing traditions.

The beach is shaped by fishermen who launch their boats each morning and sell their catch directly on the shore, making their work visible to visitors. This daily routine reflects how the local community depends on the sea for its livelihood.

The beach is accessible by Route 3399 with parking near the shore and food vendors operating during the day. Morning and early afternoon hours tend to be less crowded and offer calmer conditions for swimming and walking.

The waters offshore contain natural coral formations where multiple species of tropical fish gather, making snorkeling possible. Many visitors overlook this underwater feature and focus only on the beach itself.
