Mae Ping National Park

Mae Ping National Park is a protected forest area in Chiang Mai with mountains, rivers, and dense woodlands. The terrain rises and falls across multiple ridges, with natural waterfalls and lakes distributed throughout the landscape.

The area was declared a national park in 1981 after surveys confirmed its ecological importance for the region. This protection was granted to safeguard the diverse forest types and natural habitats found throughout the land.
