Wat Kham Chanot

Located by a lake 100 kilometers east of Udon Thani, Wat Kham Chanot features an island sanctuary connected by a bridge decorated with Naga serpent statues.

The temple opens daily from 6 AM to 6 PM without admission fees, though access to the central island may pause during lunch hours for crowd management.

Local vendors along the approaching roads sell traditional banana leaf Naga figurines, which visitors offer at the temple as part of regional customs.
