Khun Dan Prakan Chon is an earth-fill dam stretching across the Nakhon Nayok River with a height of around 93 meters (305 feet). The structure creates a large reservoir that fills the valley, visible from various viewpoints along the riverbanks.
The dam was completed between 2002 and 2005 to prevent flooding in Nakhon Nayok Province. The project represented a major infrastructure initiative for the region that transformed how water is managed across the valley.
