Chang International Circuit, Motorsport racing track in Isan, Thailand.
Chang International Circuit is a motorsport racing track in Buri Ram, northeastern Thailand, stretching over four kilometers. The facility combines twelve corners with varying angles and a long straightaway where vehicles reach high speeds.
A German architect designed this track, which opened in October 2014 and is therefore less than a decade old. Thailand gained its first stadium for international motorcycle races in the MotoGP class through this project.
The racing venue takes its name from a beer brand and reflects the connection between sport and local business partnerships. Visitors experience a mix of Thai hospitality and international motorsport culture visible throughout the stands and facilities.
The main grandstand offers seating with direct views of the start-finish straight and several turns. Multiple entrances are distributed around the facility and ease access during large race events.
Two drivers share the lap record of under ninety-three seconds, set during an Asian GT competition. This time demonstrates the technical demands the track places on vehicles and pilots.
