Wat Pa Phu Kon, Buddhist temple in Na Yung, Thailand

The temple sits among hills, featuring a white marble reclining Buddha statue measuring 65 feet in length and a 25-meter golden stupa at its center.

The temple complex construction began in 2010 and finished in 2013, with funding of 320 million Thai baht from donations honoring King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

The Great Wihan functions as an assembly hall where Buddhist ceremonies take place, bringing together local practitioners for religious gatherings and meditation.

Visitors need to wear clothes covering shoulders and knees when entering the temple grounds, with additional covering available if required.

The massive reclining Buddha statue consists of white marble blocks from Italy, transported in sections weighing between 15 and 30 tons each.
