Wat Pa Phu Kon

Wat Pa Phu Kon is a Buddhist temple situated in hilly terrain that encompasses multiple religious structures and open spaces. The site centers on a golden stupa, while a large white marble reclining Buddha figure serves as the complex's focal point.

The temple complex was built in the early 2010s and has since become a significant religious site in the region. The project was realized through community donations made in honor of a respected historical figure.

The main assembly hall serves as a gathering space where local Buddhists come together for prayers and meditation sessions. The design encourages visitors to participate in or observe the daily spiritual practices that give the temple its living purpose.

Visitors should wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees before entering the temple grounds. Extra fabric wraps are available at the entrance if needed for additional coverage.

The white marble reclining Buddha was crafted from stone imported from Italy and transported in large sections. This international source of materials gives the temple an unexpected construction story.
