Wat Iam Pracha Mit

The temple covers an area of 35 rai and includes several wooden structures decorated with traditional Thai architectural elements on the western bank of Chao Phraya River.

Founded in 1940, the temple received its current name Wat Iam Pracha Mit in 1954 and obtained royal permission for consecrated ground in January 1947.

The temple maintains a learning center that focuses on Buddhist teachings and supports local traditions through regular ceremonies and educational programs.

Visitors should wear modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees when entering the temple grounds, and remove shoes before entering any buildings.

The temple houses a century-old Buddha statue in blessing posture, measuring 5 meters tall with a 3-meter wide lap, located within its main sanctuary.
